Is data unlimited?

Yes. Use as much data as you want with no caps or throttling, as long as you comply with the terms and conditions of service.

Do I have to return the equipment if I cancel service?

Yes. Equipment must be returned to the Rapid Fiber Internet office within 30 days of canceling service. Customers are required to complete a form upon returning the equipment. For additional information, please contact 866-647-2743 or info@rapid-fiber.com.

Can I use my own equipment?

You must use the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) provided by Rapid Fiber Internet to receive internet service.

We also strongly recommend that you use the GigaSpire router provided with your subscription, which will allow you to receive Managed Wi-Fi. Without Managed Wi-Fi remote technical support for internet and phone services will not be available.

The GigaSpire router not only provides Managed Wi-Fi, but also contains the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology that enables faster Wi-Fi and download speeds, and lets you add more smart home devices without slowing down your internet experience. The GigaSpire will also allow you to easily connect wireless extenders for larger homes.

What is Managed Wi-Fi?

Every subscription for Rapid Fiber Internet’s internet service comes with free technical support and a Wi-Fi router that provides “managed” Wi-Fi. This allows our technicians to assist you remotely with any issues that may arise with your service. You will also receive complementary access to the myRapid HQ app, allowing you access and control of your home’s network.

What equipment is required?

You are not required to provide any equipment. You will be provided with an Optical Network Terminal (ONT), which functions as a modem, and a GigaSpire Wi-Fi router which will deliver a very powerful, state-of-the-art “managed” Wi-Fi signal for your home. If you have a very large or multi-story home, you may wish to rent 1 or more extenders from Rapid Fiber Internet.
